[6pp.]/pp.288/pp.4 [adverts]. A very good suede leather binding. Grey suede over card covers, with yapp edges. Front cover with gilt title. Smooth spine, with gilt titles, sunned. All page edges gilt. Marbled endpapers, lightly foxed. Mostly clean text, with light spotting to preliminaries and last few leaves. ** Harriet Hamilton Eleanor King, a deeply religious woman, published primarily during the second half of the nineteenth century and focused many of her writings on her lifelong passions: the struggle for Italian nationalism and the revolutionary figures behind the movement. Her principal genre was poetry, of which she produced seven volumes, some appearing in more than ten editions.
