Large 4to. pp.20/pp.270/pp.235 . A very good full black leather binding, stamped on the inside of the rear board: "A. R. Mowbray & Co. Ltd. Oxford & London." Marbled endpapers. All page edges gilt, with 6 black leather tabs (two missing). Title in red & black. Clean text throughout with just a few page edge repairs. The Order of the Holy Communion is in red & black, otherwise all text is just black. A selection of the contents include: Kalendar; Proper of the Season; Order of the Holy Communion; Proper of Saints; Votive Masses; Masses for the Dead. The Appendix includes: Form of the blessing of water; The Services of Holy Week; Order of the Procession on Easter-Day; Form for the blessing of candles on the feast of Candlemas.
