Signed Limited Edition of 1000 copies of which this is number 669 signed by the illustrator; Hugh Thomson. 4to.12.4" x 10.3" x 1.5" inches. [4pp.]/pp.7/[1p.]/pp.197/[1p.] . Publisher’s elaborate gilt and decorative vellum binding, with blue rules. Silk ties absent. Edges lightly rubbed and rear board with light spotting and a small inch wide bubble (where the vellum has lifted from the board). Plain endpapers. Top page edge gilt, other page edges deckled (untrimmed). Loosely inserted advert for exhibition of Hugh Thompson's original drawings for Quality Street, dated 1913. With 22 tipped-in colour plates, captioned and illustrated tissue guards. No inscriptions, a very good copy.
